The romance of a nice side lamps glow

Evening greenfly pickers,
Well we did go to the “brocante” and again its one ive not been to before, a very small event approx 40 stalls and a little donkey giving the kids rides around the fields,

This “brocante” was what i call a proper attic sale, ie only second hand stuff and no stalls selling new items,

We didnt buy anything today but i must tell you about an english couple who parked behind us,

As we we’re walking back to our car we got talking about getting home and having a nice cuppa when these two behind us said, " Yes that sounds a good idea"

We said hello and i said did you buy anything?

His wife replied “he bought a load of junk”

The man said to me “just have a look at this”

It was a side light that you’d have by the bed, But i noticed it had crocodile clips attached to the electric cord,
And when i looked at the light bulb it said (12volt) on it.

Have you got a caravan i asked ?

No he replied,
But this is for a 12volt battery system i said,

His wife came into the conversation and said,
“He thinks he’s having that load of junk buy the tv with a car battery under the table, “he can think again.”

Just show’s some of the stuff people buy.

But it was a nice ride out to this event and the weather stayed hot all day.
