A New Patio

OH decided recently that the patio area that we have lived with for 30-odd years needed to be “re-done” !
The tiler was obviously not too busy , as he had no sooner cased the joint than ‘phoned to say he could start next week . We were thinking the Spring .
The wind was taken out of OH’s sails and he said O.K.
(Meanwhile the guy who was doing the bathroom tiling was also coming that week .) A two pronged attack .
Rather a lot of dust everywhere , to say the least .
Never-the-less , both jobs now completed .
Oh , I never took a before pic , but did I mention that the patio is now a lovely pink hue ?

Hello Driad. I cannot see the pictures either. I can see the problem though. If you go to "edit" your blog...the exclamation symbol has to be in front of your http:// not in front of your comment

They look good and yes they will 'tone done ' a bit if that's what you are hoping for. a few muddy boots up and down and you'll be longing for the pink again. :o)

We needed shades at first , but are becoming acclimatized !
We're thinking that we might get the rest of the path done at some point .
It has brightened up indoors as well , Kidsgran .
The pics didn't load up at first David , that was the prob at the start of the blog .
Off to the Beer Fest for a couple of samples now , on this dark , damp evening .
