Garden at a low ebb , so trawling through saved seeds from last year , bought some in Aldi’s yesterday , and scanning the seed catalogues today .
Nice to dream !
A couple of my versions of Japanese Flower arrangements (Ikebana)

The pinholder is called a Kansan , and is probably similar in effect to Oasis .
Lovely to small these daffodils !

Thanks everyone .
We have an event called "Seedy Sunday" coming up in the town , so I need to be having a look at what I can spare to "swap".
I think that it is an idea that started with GQT .
Yes , the seeds from Aldi are reliable Bloomer and Timmy , Lidl's are also good .
I tend to sow too many , and come June--July am left with "orphaned" seedlings though !

I like the small daffodils too ... and your arrangement is very pretty :o)
Now that's something I have to do - have a look through my seeds. You have reminded me - thank you :o)

What beautiful arrangements, aren't you clever!

I'm going to be sorting through my 'saved' seeds this weekend, to me it's the beginning of Spring for me :)

Sorting through the seeds is a harbinger of Spring , isn't it ?

Beautiful arrangements Julia ! I've only ever used oasis and have never heard of a pin holder ! Where would I get one of those from ? The sun is now shining ! Woohoo ! Not seen it for such a long time ! Roll on the spring !

I used to do silk flower arranging, years ago Rose, and I believe you can buy most flower arranging 'tools' from good GCs.
Driad, you've spurred into giving arranging a go again, with 'real' flowers. I don't know why, but I've fallen into the trap of just bunging them into a vase.

Good oh Waddy , they are shown to full advantage then , and so many aren't needed . The greenery can be selected from the garden .
What a lovely day we have had today , Rose , certainly good to see the Sun ,and the "thumbnail" of the Moon tonight .
Year of the Horse ; Happy Chinese New Year everyone !
