I Recently took early retirement and only have a small garden but have incorporated a couple of raised beds to grow fruit and vegetables. My soil consists of a mixture of builders sand and rubbish as the area used to be used as a tip many years ago. I need to buy suitable top soil to grow French Beans, Carrotts, Beetroot, Onions and Strawberries. Can anyone please advise me where I can buy top soil that would be suitable and what the ideal ph is? Thank You. Regards, Dorzy.
