After 5 years of hard work the garden is looking good. I would like to share with you all the changes which we made.

This is the garden after about 6 months of clearing it. It was so bad you could not walk down the garden as it was full of long grass weeds and bricks

This was the area where my swing is before meny months of back ache and a couple of years later it looks like this

A great place to sit and enjoy the evening in the summer.

This is the front after clearing it all out

And this was taken a couple of years later

We had been here for about 3 years at this point and it was then taken shape nicely

Congratulations Donnah - this shows your hard work and efforts over the last five years and 'wow' what a difference! It's super that you have a photographic record showing how the garden has evolved and improved in such a short space of time. Thanks for sharing this with us.

What an uplifting story - my garden was already established when I moved here but I knew next to nothing about gardening so some things did not last! Actually, some plants are just now (after 11 years) being discovered as I clear debris and have finally gained the courage to prune overgrown hedges and bushes.
