ohh, take care Donnah, I'm sure you know what you are doing , but every year we hear tragic stories, especially involving pets. Great photo though.

I wouldn't have dared walk over it ... too worried there may be a weak spot somewhere! Coco must have had a frozen derriere!

Oh, do be careful.I'm sure you know what you're doing, but a chap fell through ice here in Essex last week(Rochford) and died in hospital the next day!

Not Brave just very carefull Co Co was not frozen shirley she was loving it. Thank you for being so thought full.I have lived on the broads for a few years and this the freeze was exceptional. I would have taken my Grandmother out there for a walk I was that convinced it was so solid with ice , Belive me it was safe Donna xx

Drc Their was no thinest part of the broad at all it was solid and very cold at the time I walked the complete lenght of the broad across to the iland. i would never had tryed it if I did not feel 100 per cnt secure But I do share your concerns . We about around 3 weeks with the froast and freeze with ice skaters turning up till dark skating on the ice It was lovely to watch. Plus The main broad is checked by the proper people drilling the depth of ice And we are not silly Just sensible Love Donna
