Some little bits of joy

There are a few things in the garden that are really giving me a lot of pleasure at the moment. Hope you like them too.

Hawthorn looking particularly good this year.

Standard Cytisus by the new seating area.

Unknown tulip.

Berberis. Also doing rather well this year.

Deutzia rosea. Beautiful.

Erysimum. This hasn’t stopped flowering since February last year!

Unknown climbing rose. I can’t believe how good this looks when we’re not even at the end of April yet!

Teasing Georgia blooming already.

A close up of the climbing rose. I love it’s colour.

Another climber doing well. Can’t remember it’s name!

Great colour, your garden is just beautiful. It looks like summer is there already.

Its grand. Is it unusual for the erysimum to flower for a long time? Your roses are fantastic for April!

Thanks everyone. I'm pleased you enjoyed the pics.

Steragram, I know they flower for a long period but this one seems to been flowering forever with no break. Probably because we've had no frost to speak of. Just hope it doesn't flower itself to death...

Your garden is a picture, Diggin. The hawthorn is splendid and I love your roses. What are they doing blooming in April?? I thought the well - formed buds on mine were early. My erysimum Bowles Mauve also flowers relentlessly - a great doer.
