I posted this in the questions area some time ago, but given that I have not had any takers yet, I thought I’d try here before advertising elsewhere.

Belfast sinks for the garden

If anyone living in the Mansfield/Worksop/Tuxford/Newark area would like two Belfast sinks, a small decorative stone bench and a couple of other stone planters send me a PM for more info. They are going free but will need to be collected. Genuine reason for getting rid of them. Sorry, I can’t provide photos.

I saw it as well and thought of all the things I could do with them, but I live 600 miles away! Nice of you to offer. Have you tried gumtree? It is free to advertise. I would ask £10 for both and am sure that they would sell quickly.

I have seen 2 advertised for £1400. Buyer collect.
Be careful !

I think I'll have to advertise locally when I return to the UK. I don't particularly want any money for them. I can't use them (more to the point, I don't want to have to hire a 'man with a van' to get them back to Belgium)!and I have to clear my UK house and garden as my mother who was living in it has had to go into a care home.

You can give them away for free on Gumtree, freecycle and the like. I always find that garden things are snapped up!

Thanks Kildermorie. I'll give it a try when I get to the UK. (I saw you comment in the questions section by-the-way. Thank you).

Aww what a shame ... I have three Belfast's in my garden already and they make wonderful little planters for my herbs and wild strawberries and one is sited outside my back do,or which I am going to have to plant up soon with some culinary herbs for the kitchen so anyone who gives yours a good home will never look back. I wish I lived nearer too because you can never have enough Belfast sinks I feel! :^) Good luck in rehoming them. Michelle x
