About me

I've been gardening in Israel in a desert town by the Red Sea for the past 15 years. Although tough going (reaches 45 C + in summer with virtually no rain in winter), it's most rewarding and enjoyable. 'We've' introduce a much bigger variety of plants (including palms) over the past 10 years. Although most suffer with the intense heat in summer, they seem to recover when the weather is more favourable. And it's a pleasure to see how adaptable some of them are. All our gardens have drip irrigation as you can imagine, with fertilization of 7:3:7 through the water systems (at a ratio of 0.1%). That's it.
Happy gardening
