The Perfect Spring Colours

I love blue and yellow together. I have egg yolk yellow mini daffs with a deep blue hyacinth.

Spring has definitely sprung.

I also have Coronilla near my conservatory door plus a Rosemary hedge surrounding my rose garden, but for some reason doesn't flower.
I have to keep it low, so maybe that's why.
Blue and yellow are definitely my favourite colours.

Karen, I so agree with you on blue and yellow for Springtime. I have Rosemary in the pots at the front door, Bees and Hoverflies love the flowers and in the back garden area where the bird feeders and bird baths are has Primroses and blue/lilac Anemones at the moment. A pleasure to see the sun shining for the second day in a row ... :o)

Thanks to you all! Only a week more for me to wait for the start of my new courtyard garden. I am so excited! Happy Easter. Spring has arrived, whatever the weather does, and I hear it is going to be very cold!

They do look lovely together Karen. My rosemary has pale blue flowers and is very tall, hiding the beehouse on the wall. No pruning today though as we have rain again! I did manage a long day in the garden yesterday though, transplanting forget-me-nots, Welsh poppies (blue and yellow) and a couple of ferns which nearly did for me!!

Janey, you have to be brave to tackle those ferns! lol! We a tually had. Lastly sun today…again!! And we went for a ride in the countryside and down to Wimborne again for lunch. The river there was very fast and flooded.

The blue flowers on a Rosemary are such a pretty, soft shade of blue. I like your coronilla very much, they do look lovely together.

Yes, I'll not be moving ferns again!
I bet you are loving all the beautiful places on your doorstep. Let's hope we get a few weeks of sun to dry things out!

Did you see M. Don on GW? He was planting blue and yellow on the mound. An episode worth watching this time, I thought.

Thanks Phyl. I’ve done a bit of gardening today! I pruned back the Caryopteris and dead-headed the daffs. And potted up a new baby plum tree. It’s 13C here, so I’m feeling a lot happier now! I miss my gardening so much.

Karen, it's 9am, the wind is blowing briskly and it is so chilly outside! If I had the choice I would be staying home all day, sadly I have an appointment to attend.

The River Arun has burst its banks at Littlehampton, about four miles along the coast from us ... :o(
