Trying to fit it all in

5 comments

Well, I have a new computer, the garden is SLOWLY getting underway. My walking duties are as great as ever. I also have the father-in-Law to ferry around at times (he’s 89). I have just taken him an old toilet tent frame & some compost, he is growing runner beans in 4 pots. The legs of the frame will be inserted into the pots filled with a mix of compost & soil.

I have repaired the stream, much to my back’s disgust. I am getting things together, such as looking for plants for the stream banks & others for the main body of the garden, plus another big bag of gravel, if I take anymore from the front, It will be bald.

What with swimming, Tai Chi, walking, the garden & trying to get to grips with this new laptop, I have no time for bordom. I think I had better close & get some watering done.

Bye for now.

Hope your back's feeling better soon Cliveanne, it certainly did a grand job for you on the stream, it's looking gorgeous! And I agree with you on buying in more gravel...a baldy front is never going to be a good look! Lol! ;0}

You have lots of pebbles. I like pebbles in the garden. They look nice when they're wet aswell :)
So you do Tai chi. I also do it. I find it very beneficial and i do it every day.

Thank you for your coments folks. The back problem is not as bad as it used to be. I can start work & stop as soon as things get a bit uncomfortable, so the job can take weeks instead of days (or hours). In this instance it took months. Tai Chi , swimming & walking helped enormously. I do like a natural look in a garden, I do not do formal...too much upkeep. ;-)
