First plantings

Today I dug in some compost to one of the beds and planted some carrot and parsnip seeds.
I’ve not wanted to do it before now as only yesterday we had some snow and we seem to have gone back to cold weather. The temperature was above 10 degrees for a few days about a week back and it was a nice change, made such a difference.
Now i’ve got to remember to do the watering ..

Nice raised bed, Claire. We chickened out of sowing many seeds today as the wind was too cold. The forcast is for the weather to improve as the week goes on so we are now planning it for April Fools Day - fools.
