After reading Fluff’s message today I realised that many of my friends don’t know about my country.I am from Nepal a small country in eastern Asia.It is a mountanous country with the highest peak Mt. Everest. It has a number of notable himalayan ranges too.The birth place of Gautam Buddha,Lumbini lies in our country. It has wild range of wild animals including One horn rhino, an endangered species. The forest of terai region is full of many species of orchids and many other floras.I don’t have good pictures now,I will certainly include some more in coming days.I have included some of them taken by my hubby.

My hubby and my son.

I couldn’t include some more pics.I will do it later as I have to go to my work now

Thank You so very much, Camillia.!

Many of us will be familiar with plants in our gardens which had their origins in Nepal and the countries of the Himalayas. To have you here, and see your pictures, is wonderful! :-))

Hi, Camilla, I've really enjoyed seeing all your photos. What wonderful exotic plants. My friend has been to Nepal. He went to Khatmandu(?) and up to one of the lower bases of Everest. He thought it was a great country with lovely people.

I've always thought what a wonderful part of the world you live in and would like to spend time there. Unfortunately we have a pet dog so because we wouldn't ever think of leaving him, we stay in the UK. You may well be familiar with the breed as it's origins are not far from you. He's a Lhasa Apso, if you look into my profile you'll see him.

This part DOES look like the Shenandoah Valley...you were right Camillia, it is very similar...I had heard of Mt. Everest of course, but did not realize you also had forests and the lakes! And the one-horn rhino. So beautiful!
