Time for the Spring Shows

As I started tidying up some of our show plants today, in the sunshine, I thought that GoYers might like to know of the dates of some of the shows.
As well as being an exhibition of many superb plants, alpines and bulbs in my case, the shows also provide space for the nurserymen to sell plants along with a usually varied and interesting club plant sales table. Typically entry is £2 and the show opens to the public at 12 o’clock. At two of the following shows, Edinburgh and Perth, the plant sales area is in a separate room and admission to this is available from 10 o’clock.
These are shows administered by Scottish Rock Garden Club and are in the North of England and in Scotland. I do have similar information on AGS shows further south in England and Wales. If you are interested in these send me a pm and I will copy them to you.

I have to say if you live in Scotland then the best show to visit in my opinion is Edinburgh! If you are in the north of Scotland then hi thee to Aberdeen where Ian & Maggi Young will make you most welcome as will Mr MB & self!
