I started gardening when I was a kid helping dad on the allotment. Then had my own allotment.I grew veg in my garden and then fruit. After that I got interested in bedding plants and then tropicals. I have a greenhouse, and polytunnel but do most of the propagating in the conservatory.My favourite plants are my two Joshua trees and several Frangipanis. I also have bananas (cavendish and Basjoo) and my hubby gave me a ten foot cordyline for my birthday recently.Apart from gardening my other interests are old British motorbikes,and portrait drawing.
