ANOTHER WALK WITH LOTS OF TREES

Now I’m not very keen on Autumn as it means the end of Summer, but that doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate its beauty. Here are some lovely trees I saw today on our Wednesday walk in the Arboretum again, awful weather but who cares:o)
This first pic of my favourite Arbo bridge was taken the previous week.

Our waterproofed group, the rain held off for about twenty minutes.

Colourful group of school children

I had to get a closer look at that lovely dark conifer in the background, it looked as though it had been bedecked with stars for Christmas.

This Arbo workers base looked painted from far away…

I was on my way home from walking the dogs, just about to turn the corner home and thought it looked lovely so trotted back with my camera :o)

Lovely colours. Its easy to see why that bridge is your favourite!

Sadly we are short of autumn colour round here - most of the trees are sycamore and ash, which just go shrivelled and brown. So you photos are really welcome!

I know what you mean about Autumn being the end of Summer, and heralding winter, but doesn't Mother Nature give us a wonderfully colourful 'Goodbye' from one season and into another?
I loved your pictures, especially the decorated fir tree :)

Truly beautiful photographs of the changing trees and all those lovely leaves lying on the ground.

I like Autumn but am not over keen on what follows!!!

My favourite picture is the one with the empty bench.

Lovely Walk Ba, so many different colours at this time of year.Loved the Star Spangled Tree, you're right it does look like it's decorated for Christmas! I love all the leaves on the ground, till they get slippy!, love to walk thru them and kick them all over the place, they bring out the child in me!!:-)

Thanks for all your lovely comments, I do find the tree trunks look different in the Autumn...could be they're more noticeable now 'cos the leaves are falling, but I don't think so. I'll have to stop putting pics on of the same Arboretum walk lol or you will all get really bored. These Wednesday walks along with my Monday conversational french class have become a weekly highlight ..... I wonder if I can try something else new? I keep meeting such inspiring women:-))

It's lovely you have found like minded companions to go walking with Ba..I know you have your dogs, but it's nice to have others to chat to,along the way..and what a lovely place to walk, and the rain shows up the colours so much more,I think..a lovely blog and pics :o)
