I was so excited when I opened the parcel, I forgot to take a picture of how lovely they all looked together!! All I could think about was separating them into sun/shade/part shade etc. I had them from Plantagogo and I’m very pleased. Thought you might like to see them?? I hope so:-)

This is heuchera Cascade Dawn, h. Marmalade and h. Fire Chief at the back.

this is the lovely little h. Midas Touch

The very gorgeous heucherella seet tea with heuchera havana.

This is the lovely corydalis f. Bue Dragon and the pic beneath shows c. Blue Dragon with corydalis Blackberry Wine. I broke one of the flowers off this one getting it out of the box 8~/

This is the very gorgeous heuchera Georgia Peach which I bought last year and it came through the winter totally unscathed

Am waiting for Havana and Lime Ricky, and Berry Smoothie. Heard today that they have been sent off, so wont have long to wait.

Hi Bornagain ... Heucharas are such lovely colours & shapes ... I was introduced to them by my sister many years ago & have loved them ever since. I planted one in a very special place & it just looks perfect ... giving a lovely backdrop to other plants.
The Georgia Peach is particularly beautiful.

Hi Great, They do all look very healthy, Vicky (plantagogo) is a Goy member and a Chelsea gold medal winner, if you type Vicky in search box you'll find lots of info about caring for heucheras that may help your 'poor offerings' :-)

20 May, 2010

I bet you are in Heuchara heaven with all those. I do envy you. I bought an unnamed one last weekend a t a Gardening Club plant sale, will have to put pic up to se if anyone can name it for me.

20 May, 2010

Hi Fluff, nice to see you back again, have you put a pic on of yours? I fancy having a few peachy ones with apricot fox gloves, they're all in pots waiting for makeover to finish:-)

20 May, 2010

Sure am Pipsqueak, I'm no expert, but I bet someone can identify it for you. If not try Vicky (after Chelsea) she'll know for sure. Was it a bargain? :-)

20 May, 2010

I will put up a picture of Lime Ricky as soon as I receive it . They are so versatile aren't they.

20 May, 2010

Yes it was a great bargain £1 !!!. Love G Club plant sales :~)
I have planted it in a little cream bucket I found in the garden when I moved in and it looks lovely. Will do the pic when the batteries for the camera have charged

20 May, 2010

They are very nice. There are so many different types.

21 May, 2010

Look forward to it Cinders, some of these on here are for sun!! I never thought coloured leaves like these would like sun:-)

21 May, 2010

I look forward to yours too Pipsqueak. Do you find the grow well in containers?

21 May, 2010

Hi Hywel, thanks, being on this site has certainly opened my eyes, especially to the different types, shapes and colours of heuchera and their kin:-)

21 May, 2010

I think they can do ok in containers as one of our members in Cheshire seems to specialise in them and has pics of them grouped in pots and they make a really good show.
I haven't put mine up as and individual pic but as a part of the blog I have just done. Hope someone can identify it for me

BB How could you ??? Showing these beautiful Heucheras and there was me at the Garden Centre today without my shopping list with all the MUST HAVES including the word Heuchera on it. But now seeing your smashing Plants I'll just have to go again and get some, well as soon as I saved some Pennies. The Georgia Peach seems to be my favourite and I cant wait to be the beholder of that one at least. Thanks for showing them, well now I am not so sure about that, I am a bit of the jealous type.

26 May, 2010

These are gorgeous. I fell in love with heuchera after seeing them on Goy and I started buying them when I saw them reduced in Dobbies in Stirling. I got three that day at the bargain price of £2 each and have now got about 20 different ones. I will sort them out colour wise and get them in soon.I got Fire Chief, Southern Comfort, Strawberry Candy and Lime Marmalade from Vicky and Richard at Gardening Scotland in Edinburgh on Sunday. Their nursery is not far off J16 on the M6 so I have made a mental note to stop off on my way to or from my daughters in Somerset. Seeing their stand for which they got another Gold made me quite weak at the knees. I was very good and only bought one more than I had on the list. That was Strawberry Candy. It has bright pink double flowers which look good enough to eat.

11 Jun, 2010

Hey Scotsgran, they all sound good enough to eat, well not the fire chief lol. For some reason, even though I'd read otherwise, I still thought they all liked some shade, so I bought the, for want of a better word, orangey ones to go with some apricot foxgloves I bought off ebay. The foxgloves looked lovely and healthy and I couldn't wait to see the flowers open.......they were purple:-( The seller refunded my money, but oh the disappointment...Never mind, I'm off to Gardeners World Live next Sunday:-))))

12 Jun, 2010

If you can get some apricot seed then sow them asap and hopefully you will get your own flowers next year. They grow like weeds.

12 Jun, 2010

Will do, thanks, that's what you get for being impatient lol:-)
