I really got into gardening since I moved into my house about ten years ago. It was the first time I ever had my own garden and as the garden was the only place I could play with while saving money to renovate the rest of the house, I really got the gardening bug. I now prefer pottering about the garden to doing up the house! I have a narrow but long(ish) victorian town house garden which I have split into different garden rooms as I love lots of different styles and can't settle for one! I love looking at ideas for small spaces and like anything from formal topiary to kitchen gardens to jungles!!! I love visiting gardens and my favourites are those at Hardwick Hall & Renishaw Hall, both in Derbyshire. I would love to visit Yorkgate this year.
