Hello Poppy and welcome, she looks a little cutie Sandra, guess that is now her chair, we have many headless, legs and tails gone, misshapen toys here, our two never completely destroy the toys but on principal they think they have to eat part of a new one within five minutes of receiving..

Oh my goodness Hywel this was such a shock, I thought it was Colin, our daughters dog, who we had to put to sleep on Sunday, isn't she gorgeous, please give her a hug from me, as we miss him so much.....(╯︵╰,)

She is adorable! I love Dachshunds, my Mother always kept them and we would have several about the house and garden when we were young. Poppy is beautiful, how can you let her go home again?

Thank you Sue,she has so many toys at home, and I don't think one of them is intact ! lol,but like your two,she never totally destroys them, but there are lots of balls of fluffy stuffing everywhere ..luckily,she doesn't eat them :o)

She does get treats .Amy..in fact she likes most things, especially Alison's work shoes,as she found out to her cost ,when she was going back to work on Monday ! She won't leave them lying around again :o) xx

Oh Angela,I'm so sorry to hear about Colin, you must all be devastated ,as they are so much a part of your family. I hope you are ok,as I can see how much of a shock it would be ,seeing Poppy..I will definitely give her a hug from you, next time I see her..xxx

Thank you Honeysuckle..She has such a lovely sweet Nature, and seems to make a beeline for me,as soon as she sees me.not only that, but she is so excited, there is always a little 'puddle' as well..I open the back gate instead of the front door, when she is coming..so any'Puddles' are outside, and not on my carpet ! ha ha I love her to bits:o)

Sandra we are trying to come to terms with his passing, we had him staying with us on a regular basis over his 15 plus years, which has made it harder for us, when he was younger he used to piddle when he was excited!! he had a favourite chair, and had to sleep with a blanket over him!! and a passion for strong cheddar cheese!..... thanks for your kind comments....xx

Angela,I can't believe how similar ,Poppy's habits are to those of Colin's..it's so spooky! She also adores strong Cheese..in fact she had some 'extra Mature 'Cheddar as a treat today..and she also has a blanket which she pulls over her self too..she also likes her head to be covered :o)

I really feel for you and yours,it's a horrible time to go through..but what a wonderful life he had with you all,and one day you will look back and remember the special memories,as each day gets a little less painful..xxx

So cute Sandra, mine ruin all their toys too and have been known to destroy their beds . Lilabet is the real culprit, hope she grows out of it:-)

Sorry Ba,I missed your comment.. I bet Lilabet is the apple of your eye,all the same :o)

Oh Wow, Sandra what a gorgeous puppy dog she is! She can come to my mad house anytime. I'll get her to sit on the newspaper with Teddy...haha.. Just beautiful...:))

27 Jan, 2020

Aww,thank you Janey..I'm sure she would love to visit you all,and share a newspaper with Teddy..ha ha..She is very friendly :o) We have framed this photo of her,and it's the first one I see, when I open the door . :o) x

I can see why, it's a lovely photograph of her. She almost looks human with such expressive eyes.. Teddy loves to be pulled round the floor on a newspaper...even tho he's a huge cat and weighs over 7 kilos! Makes Lottie look tiny...

Hope alls well with you and the family..X
