Thank you for these interesting photos Bik Amazing how that little plant finds enough to live on! When I spotted the train I realised the scale of the whole picture! You live in a beautiful place! Looks like limestone - do you have lots of blue wild flowers in summer? Your Ephedtra looks a bit like our Armeria maritima but that flowers in spring.

yes there are lots of blue but didnt name them.There are lots of terrestrial orchids too
