Have a large vegetable plot and grow everything I can think of! Climate the same as in South of England but we suffer from south westerly winds a lot so have to protect the garden with hedges. Haven't had to buy many veg or salad since we permanently moved here last June but I have worked the garden for 6 years. Garden around the house is full of flowers, shrubs and flowering trees such as magnolia, syringa, hibiscus, japonica etc. Love it here and gardening is my passion!
