I have liked gardening since childhood, when my father gave me a small piece of the back garden of my own to grow my flowers in.
I have been living in my present home for almost 7 years and although the house was built in the 1960s, the garden had not had much landscaping done to it. The previous owner did not garden, so I had almost a blank canvas to work on. There were some established shrubs, and lawns(I use the word loosly) but thats about all.
I have tried to keep a 1960's suburban theme for the front garden, but the back is pockets of wild flowers, the fish pond, a small greenhouse and an equally small veg patch.
I have other hobies outside of gardening and can tell you about those when I know more about you.
