Plant trials

Just to add to the recent excitement…I had a letter today from Thompson & Morgan.

Last year I took part in their product development programme; and they have invited me to do so again in 2010. Customers who sign up to this programme receive special preview plant packs, free of charge. Often the plants sent will be new and exclusive varieties not yet seen by the public.

I grow them and report back to T&M with progress reports and pics; which may be used in their promotional material.

They are very generous with the amount of plants they send and I was inundated with bizzie lizzies; petunias; trailing begonias and a new variety of fuchsia. They also sent me hanging baskets; bags and patio bags. They also sent me a flower ball and a window box.

I still have a few plants on trial; a new variety of strawberry and an adenium, plus the new fuchsia.

I will have a bit more space to grow these plants now that I have my allotment:)))

I will keep you informed of their progress…..all you have to remember is that you saw them here first!!!!!!

I told you about last year's trials, you are right Spritz, some time ago. I was surprised to receive the invitation to do so again next year, as I understood they were "cutting back" on the offer for next year.....
