Free compost

Allotman arrived in time for free compost, together we got 2 boot loads and I persuaded the digger driver to drop a JCB load on our plot, so we are now knee deep in compost but it won’t last, my 2 compadres have been working like the devil whilst I was away and we now have two areas almost ready for our winter sowing of onions garlic broad beans etc, well done girls. Our next big project is to build a poly tunnel from scavenged material, but we may have to buy the cover for the UV protection. Watch this space!!
