Good morning

A beautiful day today after severe thunderstorms last night. Unfortunately, the lightening struck our well house and knocked the well out. My husband replaced some fuses when he got home in the evening, but apparently there was some other damage done, because we’re without water this morning. Oh well, it isn’t the first time this has happened, and probably won’t be the last. Fortunately, I’d bought some bottled water the other day to take on our camping vacation, so we’ve got that for today.
I can’t begin to say how thrilled I am to be able to see all the wonderful photos, blogs, and member info on here. It’s been my dream to establish a British Isles style cottage here in dry Wyoming- with adjustments for climate. Our ancestral heritage is German, Russian, Polish and a great deal of UK and Irish. I guess we’re a good example of the American melting pot! ha ha
As soon as I finish writing this, I’ll try to post some photos of our home, Mac (our Bearded Collie), and some other things.
Have been keeping my eye out for the spider webs! But would much rather run into one of those than come across a rattle snake. We actually had one wander right onto our patio while sitting out there chatting one evening. Sent both our cat and dog scrambling!
Well, had better look for those photos.
Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Hope you get your well sorted soon, I should imagine its a tad pricey to have to buy water in.
Its a great site and as Pam says we get to see gardens from lots of countries, even here in different parts of the UK its good to see plants growing in our gardens finding out what does or doesn`t work in our own space as compared to others in different parts, it will be good to see some photo`s but I really don`t mind if you miss out on the rattler, lol....

What a good thing you had some water ready for your trip. Can't imagine having a rattlesnake in the garden - sounds terrifying!
