A FIREY, FIREY SKY.

*These picture were taken on Wednesday evening, it had been a wet miserable day and I had settled down to watch Tv, I happened to glance up at the window and was amazed when I saw this fantastic sight. I grabbed my camera and went out to the front, the sky was ablaze with this wonderful suinset I then went into the back garden to get a better view, what a treat I took these pictures as the sky slowly changed and the sun finally went down.
The whole garden looked magical bathed in a rosy glow.
Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I did the fantastic sunset;0)

We had a nice sunset up here in Cheshire too, wasn't it nice the way it bathed everything in a warm glow, how nice it would have been on the coast. I like your pond. I took a pic of the sunset too, I'll post it up.

i told baz about harewood sandra, he said its alright but cost a fortune every time you want to visit anywhere lol,,, no more than what he spends on snooker night i bet ;o))

11 Jul, 2010

I agree,we only paid a subsidised price, but you can easily spend a full day there, and you don't have to go in the House if you don't want to,as that is an added cost. The grounds themselves are worth a visit ...

Stunning photos Pansy. It's a amazing how the sky can look sometimes. When we were travellling down to Minehead, as we were passing Stonehenge, the sky was absolutely out of this world. I tried to hold the camera above the car, trying to snap it as we were driving by, but they didn't come out very well.

Thanks everyone, Pleased you liked the pictures, what a shame yours didnt come out too well Lindyloo, its difficult when you are moving. I had lots of time to stroll around to get the best shot!

You should get one enlarged and framed. Bet it would look stunning hanging on a wall of a lounge. You could even do them for presents. I would be more than happy to receive something like that as a pressie. :o)))
