Have recently moved to Hawking in Kent. It is much windier here than I had expected. I love acers and had longed to have one. Previously I was by the sea in Wales and had to give up as the wind/salt combination was fatal.
For the moment I am buying indoor plants or ones that can live in pots, till I know the garden better. It is small but gets lots of sun in mornings and lots of wind.
