Janey, I have ads all over my screen, between the comments & down the side as well. I have an ad blocker on which has made no difference. It is so annoying. I don’t know what to do if an ad blocker doesn’t do its job.

What sort of computer/laptop are you using,FF? If it's a Windows the adblocker ought to work. If it's an Apple then I can't help as I've never used one.

Well done on the ad. removal, Janey. Now that Spring is here we shall all be posting photos and blogs of what we have in flower ... at last!

Ff I tried adblocker to no avail too. Also I couldn't see the little crosses either at the top right or bottom left of them. The main issue which I still have is is a huge advert covering the top half of my phone screen. I asked at the phone shop and the young man deleted it quickly, showing me what to do. It still comes up every time I log onto the site but I manage to sort it now.
Could you ask at a phone or computer shop and get some advice? I'm sure they could help.

Janey, I only know as much as I think I need for the computer and have only had an iPhone for a year. Still don't know, or care, what half the functions on it are for!

Thanks, FF, for letting me know &I'm sorry I can't help you more. :( I've never used iPods or any other Apple product! Except for a moment a couple of weeks ago, when my grandson was showing me something on his Apple phone, I haven't even touched an Apple product!!!

I'm the same Shirley. I have an iPad but it's rather old now. Mines an Honour phone. A smashing piece of tech but I use hardly any of its functions too and if anything needs updating, I avoid it like the plague!

Janey, I'm not alone then with my disinterest in the finer points of technology.

I refer to a comment from my 12 year old granddaughter:
'Nanny, it can get a bit overwhelming at first'.

So funny! She sent me a text the other day where the final word (amazing) was moving around - not a clue how she did that ... :o)

No I think there's so many people in today's world that would rather have a life in actual reality than be tied to the computerised world. Saying that though, I wouldn't be doing this right now or looking at our gardens on here! 😄
I do feel for the young ones but of course it's their world now and a necessary part of their lives. I bet your granddaughter will be a whizz! And it sounds like she already is, how would she do that? Nice to know you're Nanny, so am I. ☺️

Janey, her other grandmother is 'Grandma' but I'm more than happy to be 'Nanny'!
My Mum was 'Nanny' to my children too.

I have now worked out how she got the word to 'wiggle' as the choices are: Big Small Shake Nod Explode Ripple Bloom or Jitter!

Far too many options ... :o))
