Hello everyone! I just wanted to take a moment to wish my fellow Canadians a Happy Canada Day, and our U.S. members a Happy Fourth of July as well.To the rest of you – enjoy the season in all it’s splendor! In celebration, I’ll let my garden salute us all with it’s own little version of “fireworks”….

*Have a great holiday, be safe & happy gardening!!

What gorgeous blooms, Gramma.....and I enjoyed looking at your autumn trees with all their colourful foliage...the colours are so vibrant in Ontario. I hope you are beginning to see the same colourful show of nature this year once again :)

Greetings from a fellow-Canadian too....but from B.C. (and now living in UK).

Thanks Whistonlass! The trees are just beginning to turn again this year! I made it out to B.C. for a visit way back in 1972 - it is a beautiful place! I fell in love with the Rockie Mountains at first sight! Haven't yet made it to Great Britain - maybe someday - it is one country that I would love to experience!

Gramma...I'm sure you'd find GB a great place to visit....it's the history and the green land that captures you. I hope one day you can visit this beautiful land. As you say, the Rockies are very spectacular...very majestic and the air is so clean and clear.

Our son is living in St. Catharine's and took some lovely photos last year of all the beautiful autumn trees in that area. I can imagine now that you are beginning to enjoy those colours returning. The trees are changing colour here too but not the vibrant oranges and reds that you get....beautiful nonetheless.

Happy Autumn. :)

Happy Autumn to you too, Whistonlass!! I haven't travelled outside of Canada at all yet, but the British Isles would be my first choice as our family lineage comes partly from there, way way back. From all the photos I've seen, it is lovely, & from this website along I've learned how many wonderful people are there as well .... : o ))
