I haven’t been on GoY for a while but I did want to wish you all a very happy Christmas and all the best for the New Year.
My absence is because we have had a few family problems. My lovely son in law who does so much for me was taken ill and collapsed with a pain in his leg. The silly doctors said it was ‘cramp’ but it turned out to be a large blood clot. He is now receiving the appropriate treatment but there is concern that the clot could be an indicator of something more serious. It is all very worrying and we are just going through the motions at the moment. He has finally had a full body scan done today and we hope to get the results sooner rather than later. Please remember him in your prayers.
On a lighter note Millie and I are still having our daily walk in the woods and have had the pleasure of seeing the white squirrel over the last couple of days. I think it was a white squirrel which was my first photo on GoY several years ago now. How time flies :)

How lovely to see the white squirrel, I've never seen one, I'm ecstatic enough just seeing the grey ones, its a smashing photo.

Firstly Gee, I love your very posh candle bridge, far more attractive than my boring old ones! I have seen a white Squirrel once before, are they Albino grey ones? I can't remember now.
I do hope your son-in-law has good news following the scan ... thinking of you and your family ... wishing you a happy Christmas.

So sorry to hear you have this worry Gee, I do hope your son-in-law has a good report after the scan and he improves very soon.

Happy Christmas Gee. I will remember you all in my prayers and do remember God will carry you when the burden seems too heavy. I love how you share your world with us. I have never heard of a white squirrel, its lovely. I'm glad to hear Molly is still enjoying your walks. God Bless.
