brrrr hope you northern folks dont send that weather down to the southern hemisphere for our winter.
we have a heat wave here atm so perhaps we will send it to you for your summer.
extremes of weather seems like the norm for the future

Great pics particularly like the log pile.

It does look beautiful esp when captured so well in a lovely series of photos ..didnt mind it over Christmas as such a lovely time for children to enjoy it but the semi thaw and freeze with more on top is ruining the garden sadly.

Thanks everyone for your nice comments. It's Holly in the picture Heron - if you look really closely there's a small image in the background - that's Buddy. They thoroughly enjoyed all the snow over Dec & Jan. This lot of snow lasted from 20th Dec & there's still snow on the distant hills of Moffat which you can clearly see from the cottage.
