I was once "reprimanded" for using a member's photo [ in a GoY blog ] for which I thought I had asked permission .. a long story .. but since then, I've been extra careful to be doubly-sure I have permission..

Oh dear,Terra...smacked hands time.:o) .you have my permission to use any of mine,whenever you want..I thought I would put it in writing ! Lol.

If I weren't prepared for others to use my photos I wouldn't upload them in the first place! Nevertheless I suppose it is always the best thing to do so there is no misunderstandings or bad feelings.

there's an italian cafe in Leicester where me and my friends would go on a saturday morning icecream soda's and banana milkshakes....red vinyl seating and espresso coffee machines.....Ah.....its still there...still family owned... still have those drinks... but now sell more cappuchino and latte...ah well... the young don't know what they missed

One day, I shall treat myself to a PROPER ice-cream maker, which saves all the fannying around with freezers and mixers. We have a lovely ice cream shop down in the valley, but the flavours are bit predictable, and I don't like all of them. The best one we have found is 50 kilometres away in Casalecchio di Reno, attached to a supermarket, and each time we go to do a big monthly shop, we treat ourselves. There must be about 40 flavours - caramelised fig and something called "lello" (Meringues and cream) are among my favourites - OH likes Sorrento lemon and espresso coffee flavours. At home I make banana/lemon juice ice cream and fresh raspberry sorbet, and sometimes, peaches in sweet wine. OMG I've just put on 2 kilos thinking about it, and the dribbling has started up again.
I was never allowed to frequent coffee bars when I was young, but I remember gazing longingly in at those red vinyl seats, Pamg, and the hissing espresso machines and other, daring teenagers with more liberally-minded parents, having a wonderful time, talking to BOYS (gasp), and I thought life was passing me by. If only I'd known.
Sorry, TT, I've gone completely off the subject again. Maybe I should set up a quiz on ice cream flavours to keep everyone going through the cold season.

Done two of the quizzes, TT & PMed you the answers but this one is still defeating me! Got 8 of the 9 words but can't solve the anagram, for the moment at least, but I'm working on it!

I give up I can't find the anagram! I've spent too much time trying to work it out but now I've run out of patience! It annoys me but there are other things I want to do rather than spend more time on this. :-((
