Went out for a walk last weekend along the old railway which has been turned into a nature reserve. The tunnel goes under the castle.

Nice that they have turned it into a nature reserve. It must have been a lovely walk :)

Yes bamps very quiet and nature quiety doing its stuff. Hywel yes the tunnel is quite long but worth it on the other side.

They do that sort of thing here too, "Rails to Trails" it's called. I love the river, it's so calm and sleepy looking.

Really good blog STT, what a lovely walk on a warm day. I especially like photo 5 it's just stunning! Brilliant shot! It's like something out of "wind in the willows"

Well, now I know where Usk is....TS Eliot's "Usk" is one of my favorite poems but I never bothered to look it up & see just where it was located!
