Larix Buds, some catkins and a bit of cherry on top

Hi folks, just a few shots I took tother day,
my neighbour has a big Larch and was taken aback by the colour of its buds, also saw a tree with a huge number of catkins

that larch is just gorgeous ~ its always been my favourite tree; i have a weeping one but i dont think it has those lovely cones.
