Awww...what an absolutely smashing pic, Sue! So adorable too.
My cat jumps up when I’m sat on the toilet! Then gets herself settle to have a snooze!!!!

That's one gorgeous cat. Is it a Bengal? We have one who visits to play with Maudie - found her in the house a couple of times. We call her 'Jungle Cat'. Our cats have a fascination with bathrooms, too. They act like Kate's cat, too. A bit off-putting, I must say!

one of the 3 cats my eldest has likes to sleep on the seat lid. weird choice to my mind.

beautiful markings on your pus.

You can buy them the most expensive or cute looking cat beds but they’d rather sleep in the most unconventional places! One of my cats loves the bathroom too. Watches me in shower, sleeps in sink and sits on window ledge.

Thanks everyone Lol Kate! Photo of sleeping in the sink please Amsterdam! What is it with cats and bathrooms?
Always remember to close the lid Eileen! Yes the cat is a Bengal - a bit undersized but eats like a lion! And she "talks" a lot - as well as meow she says Mya Mya Mya a lot, which apparently means "quick I'm starving again..."
Thank you Klahanie!

Beautiful markings Stera, our Toffee likes the bathmat, we have a bed on the landing for him but the mat is better, if he is in the house he will follow us into the bathroom, its comical but as Seaburn says it is off putting when one is getting headbutted..

My son and daughter in law have two Bengals who are always getting in to mischief! Especially if we are on the phone! All I can hear are the Bengals being told off! One of them likes to sit on the big table and be spoon fed from her dish! So Spoilt! Haha!

Great photo & cat. Is the radiator on? That might be an attraction, as well as the fluffy mat.

Anget, Jungle Cat suits them very well - they are only a few generations removed from leopards or so I've been told.

Sandra understanding her is simply self defence to get a bit of peace... The bathroom is very small -

Sue what cat chooses to sleep in the bed provided? A nice white mat is clearly better!

Hywel, she is only small - no need to turn her out when the place is needed for other things, lol...We do have another loo but we manage to keep her out of that one - self defence really!

Yes Feverfew the radiator is on - how did you guess??

Spoonfed Rose? Whatever next??Don't tell Chilli - she's not allowed to sit on the table but you'd never guess - I try so hard to get her to take notice of "Go down!" She knows very well what I mean but that's as far as it goes...

I agree with the rest. What unique coloring he has. Maybe he wants to give you a foot massage. They are full of surprises aren't they?

Paul he's a she.... A foot massage would be very nice as long as the claws are retracted...How's your kitten and what name did you choose in the end?

Thanks Sue, Whiskers is doing well (I wanted Felix after 'Felix the Cat') but I was over ruled. He's doing quite well - growing stronger and his personality is blooming. He's a happy, playful kitten and very well behaved.

And long may that last.... Chilli doesn't do well behaved, but our other cat does! (most of the time)

I like that name! Chilli. That's probably a fitting name for your cat. I'll be Chilli thinks he/she is hot stuff! Whiskers is so unimaginative. I wanted Felix! Sue, can you please weigh in on my question about cat bathing? I'm curious to know your thoughts. Thanks :) See my post.

I answered it on the questions page. We did bath a cat once way back in the early fifties -we think he had got shut in a cowshed and crawled out through the slurry drain because it was all over him and far too much for any cat to deal with - and he was a rather scruffy grimy cat to start with (but I loved him dearly...) But I woulds never do it in the ordinary run of things.
Re the name, OH and I favoured Gandalf (because of Gandalf the /grey, the good wizard in Lord of the rings...) but its not too late to change if you don't like Whiskers.

Chilli came ready named as she was several years old already - we wouldn't have thought of it. She is very very smooth and velvety, very talkative, permanently hungry but undersized. She loves washing the other cat Freddy -he finds it a bit much some times!

Whiskers is going through his food like gangbusters but I think that's normal. Occasionally, I'll treat him to a few table scraps, usually steak. His coat has colored up nicely and he's gaining muscle tone and now he takes the stairs like nobody's business and runs runs very fast all over.
