dry weather

The weather up here in northeast scotland has been very dry this last month what odd shower we have had has dryed up in no time with the sun and wind and the ground is bone dry today has been a day of showers so i hope it gets a chance to sink in to the earth a bit .The flowers are not lasting with it being so dry they bloom one day and three days after start to fade and i have to big a garden to water it . One good thing about it being so dry the grass only needs cutting once a week and if there is any more bunnys come into it i wont need to cut it at all

We've had a lot of dry weather in s.w.Wales aswell but it's turned showery now. However it makes no difference to the soil. It's still very dry.

I would if I could lol. But it evaporates as soon as it touches the ground, so it isn't much good. I've been watering things this evening :o(

Well! I am fed up now with the rain. It is cold and the flowers are being flattened by so much rain. It has to be better tomorrow, but we are expecting high winds. What next? I can't do any gardening.
Best wishes
