Work and yet more work!

Just to say , that I am not on here as much as I was as there just isn’t enough hours in the day. As most of you will know I live on the allotments with quite a large garden and shared with a lovely old boy a large allotment. Hubby and I had got close to Jack over the years. He often popped in for coffee in a morning and would come for lunch over Christmas. Sadly he died 2 weeks ago and now I am left clearing up his side of the allotment ( he hoarded everything) This is going to take weeks to sort out.So I will look in from time to time, keeping up with you all. I have two blogs I want to do sometime, so watch this space. I will still look at your blogs when I can. My very best wishes to you all. x

Hi Rose..
That's sad about Jack, and understandable you're very busy sorting everything out.

In this warm weather there's certainly plenty of gardening to do, and less time available for the computer.

I'll look out for your blogs :o) x

I'm sorry to hear this Rose and no doubt you're missing your allotment pal very much. It's a busy time of year to have all that extra work so don't over do it and be sure to do those blogs when things have settled down. x

Sad when you lose a very close friend, but we shall miss you on here Rose, take care, little bits at a time and do not try and do too much all in one go. You have got all the nice weather to come over the summer to get it sorted for Jack. I am a hoarder and as I am getting older I keep telling myself not to do it as someone else will have it all to clear away. Hope you have a good break from Goy and get it all straightened up ready for you to work on later on in the year. Best wishes - B

Sorry to hear about Jack. You've lost a good friend.
Life throws these things at us, and we've got to do the best we can, so join in when you've got time. I will look forward to your blogs when you put them on, and don't worry about missing things. I often do.

Thanks all of you for your kind words. Thanks Barbara for caring and at some point will put pictures on of Jacks side of the allotment and then you'll see how bad it is. He was a lovely old boy and keep expecting him to come round the corner! Terra , apparently cold weather is on its way , so I better keep at it while its nice. I know Lincs , that I have all summer to do it , but I am the sort of person who wants it all done yesterday! Thanks Sheilar, Hywel and Lily. Thanks to you also Willinillie. When Hubby and I were at the hospital , the last thing he said to me was, "look after the allotment for me". So with the help of hubby , when he can , we are going to do him proud.

Well, we will miss you Rose, but understand completely. You have a lot of work ahead...as i saw from your recent blog. I'm sure you will enjoy it and it will all be worthwhile when finished. So sad that Jack died and what a poignant moment when he asked you to take care of the allotment for him. I know he won't expect you to transform it quickly though.....he will want you to take your time and take care of yourself :)) Blessings to you Rose! :)
