Milk bottle Propagator

I have a scented geranium that I kept going indoors through last winter, but it had gone very leggy, so earlier this year so I decided to take a few cuttings from it.

I cut down a plastic milk bottle lengthways and already had a few little flower pots that I knew would fit inside it.

Anyway I kept the cuttings moist and covered up in my ‘propagator’ and now they have come on a treat, so I thought I would share the idea. Hope you like it lol ;-)

Seems like a great idea! Until this last week we have always bought the long-life milk in cartons but just last week my wife asked me, while she was doing the shopping on her laptop, if I would mind 'Fresh' milk for a change as there was an offer of 3 X 2lt bottles for very much cheaper than the cartons we normally buy. I told her I didn't mind & so we have had 3 2lt bottles this week! One I've used up & threw away but your idea comes just in time to save the other two! I could copy your idea as there are some plants on the balcony I want to take cutting from before the month is out.
