hi, i have a 4yr old acer and would like to move, it as its a bit big for where it was origionaly planted,when is the best time to move and replant.

Best time is late winter, so Jan-Feb as long as the ground is not frozen. It will be dormant then and less damage done. Take as much root as possible.
