propagation of salvias which method ? does anyone not use a bag or cover to prevent rotting ......when propagating tender plants if i use a bag how do i tell when the right time to take it off ? and how many days should i leave my salvia gesneriifolis before removal of bag ?

an alternative to a bag is a 2lt plastic pop bottle. cut of the rounded bottom and then you can take the lid off/or not depending on the humidity.

I think it's best not to use a bag, unless you turn it inside out every day to avoid rotting. Best put in a cold frame (if you have one!).
