can anyone tell me what is the name of this flower as it as my friend brought it round thinking i would know all she could tell me it may of been from a bush or a small tree.. many thanks

Yep. Looks like a Kerria to me too.

we have a hedge of this Kerria which was really great this year!My husband cut it back hard last Autumn and it was covered in flowers!

I agree Kerria, we had it in my garden as a kid. It grew like a weed! I can still see it now growing outside the living room window.

Yep, it is lovely when it flowers but it does send out runners when it is mature and can be a bit of a pest.

Could be Keria? I'm not totally sure though - others will be more xperienced. We have quite an established one, and it's an attractive plant that needs what you might call a firm hand!
