have several planters with fresh compost, question should I introduce earthworms to areate the soil?

Answers

Not really because most composts are open enough. If the worms are interested they'll find their own way.

Earthworms feed on humus and unbroken down organic material in the soil. Most composts are either peat based or are fairly sterile materials from leaves, bark and so on, so I doubt that the earth worms would find much to keep them fed!

How do I say thanks?
