I have noticed one or two green shield bugs in my garden, are they harmless or should I be concerned?

Thank you Joey, that is nice to know, I had some similar but brown squash bugs last year and they reduced my newly planted rhubarb leaves to skeletons, strange thing for them to eat they didn't touch the squash!

Oops just read the article and those I saw were uniformly green, might be that new southern one, which can be a pest. If I see any more non-natives I will pick them off and feed them to the ducks!
