how to neutralise effect dog urine has on grass

I don't think there is much you can do about it really.. Other than following the dog around the garden with a watering can to dilute the ammonia. We have the same problem here.

Apparently it is usually with Bitches not so much the dogs. We have had a bitch for 14 years and never had a trace of the damage, the only thing I can think of is the feeding. We have never used tin dog food, we just buy the sacks of working dog little biscuits. and household scraps, which the farm dogs were always fed on, never had any trouble with them either. Apparently it is to do with the ph level. So wonder why we have never experienced it. Could it be the feeding? Our dogs have always been healthy and lived to good ages.

I recently read that if you give the dog pineapple juice in small amounts you will not get the brown spots....something to do with the ph :)
