Green Rhubarb/Red Rhubarb

I forced my rhubarb this year and had a good crop of red stems. These have now turned green, are they still edible? will they revert back to red? or is ther such a thing as an edible green rhubarb plant that mother in law insists there is?????

the green stems are perfectly edible. There are some that crop red stems, some that crop just green and then yours and mine that start red and go green.
