Why does my rhurbarb come up with holes in the leaves?

I've had a clump of rhubarb for two years now. It seems healthy enough and I got a bit from it last year (this year should be better) but whenever the leaves open up they have holes in them. I can't see any pest on them and can't imagine what is causing the holes.
