Can i move my tomato plants?

Being a very novice gardener I planted 6 tomato plants in one grow bag. I now realise that there should only be 3 - one plant in each hole. The plants are not very tall but have plenty of flowers on them although the flowers are not yet open. If i now transfer 3 of the plants to another grow bag will i damage them?

as maccrimmon says take as much of the rootball as poss and then water well until they perk up again.

Just make sure you take it out with the whole rootball and you should be fine , try and not disturb the ones that are remaining to much.
