Growing veg
Hello everyone
Many thanks for the advice you have given me so far - it's been invaluable and I know realise how little I know.
I don't have room for a veg plot in my garden but I would like to grow my favourite veg - broccoli and courgettes - in pots on the patio. Is this at all possible?
Thanks in advance.

Things like carrots are better grown in pots anyway as it helps keep them free of carrot fly. You'd need a big pot for a courgette! Remember not to pot brassicas with roots as they like different soil conditions. Is your patio big enough to create a raised border, trough type growing habitat as both veg mentioned aren't particularly deep rooted?

hi newkid.
go down to your local garden centre or visit seed websites like suttons or t&m. they do veg seeds for patios now and there is quite a good selection.................steve

yes , although the broccoli I grew in the ground last year done a bit better than the ones in pots , most likely the pots got dry at times and feed em regular.
