I have grown crinums for a while including crinum macwani,c bulbispermum,c delongalise,c variable, c stuhlmanii. They need an equal mix of compost sand and gravel as they need plenty of drainage I would plant the bulb with about 40% of the neck above the surface and do not water when in there dormancy. And do not repot once potted as root disturbance can cause them to miss a flowering season.
