anyone grown crinium scabrum before ? in u.k. i guess they are container only and john innis no.3 how deep would i plant them? and how wet/dry should they be as get conflicting advice on the net from u.s.a. where they seem to be mostly grown

I have grown crinums for a while including crinum macwani,c bulbispermum,c delongalise,c variable, c stuhlmanii. They need an equal mix of compost sand and gravel as they need plenty of drainage I would plant the bulb with about 40% of the neck above the surface and do not water when in there dormancy. And do not repot once potted as root disturbance can cause them to miss a flowering season.

How do I say thanks?
