four years ago we planted a pitsorpium hedge (three varities) now its shed most of its leaves and looks dead. We live in East Anglia.
Thanks I think you are right not much I can do.
I suppose its to late to water and we have a hose pipe ban in April.

Drought, perhaps?

Pittosporum would have been one shrub which would have suffered during the last two harsh winters so I think that it would have failed due to the bad weather.

In the East Anglia area i would agree.

They came through minus 12 here 2 winters ago though and that really surprised me.

I'd think it was the winter weather too, particularly if they're exposed to cold winds. They need a sheltered spot, preferably in sun.

They were behind a 6 ft fence mostly full sun. We have had 4 yrs very little rain but we watered them in well . Their third summer they looked good and had grown 4 ft plus.

How do I say thanks?
